Why did you start SayDoJournal
As a solopreneur myself, I found myself asking "why am I so good at working for others and not for myself?" This question caused me to feel less good about myself. It made me question whether I was capable of being my own boss. On this journey I bought books, journals, courses, community access, and coaching sessions. They all helped a little bit but didn’t feel sustainable. Eventually I created the SayDo framework. A way to do what you said you’d do. Simple on the surface, incredibly difficult in execution. I’ve been using SayDo for over two years now and with it been able to build my own little business that brings me, my family and loved ones a lot of joy. I hope by sharing the SayDo framework and journal I can help others in similar situations realize their true potential.
What is the daily practice streak?
In the SayDo framework, what you do and how much you do doesn’t matter. Instead, what gets tracked is, did you do what you said you would do and did you do that multiple days in a row. The streak represents how many days in a row you’ve done this and acts as a strong motivator to continue.
Do I have to write reflections or journal entries?
No. SayDo is very simple. Write down what you want to do tomorrow as a list of tasks. Then on the day, complete those tasks. The journal component is being able to look back on the journey and see how far you’ve come.
What are Accountability Pods?
Small groups of 4–6 led by an moderated by an established coach. Everyone in the pod sees everyone’s tasks and streak, cheers the wins and nudges the dips.
Your word, kept.
Take this moment to write down one thing you know you want to get done tomorrow. Keep this note somewhere you’ll easily see it tomorrow, by the computer, phone or vanity mirror.
